Follow @Food.Lovers.Life During the summer, my herb garden is ridiculous. I have over 20 different varieties which I prune and harvest from constantly. Some examples are lemon basil, lime basil, cinnamon basil, blue spice basil, silver thyme, orange thyme, Greek oregano, chives, society garlic, tarragon, flat leaf and curly parsley, and dill. (I know, I'm just showing off at this point.) But seriously, having all of these fresh herbs is the best. Especially if you love to cook, like me! Now when it comes to fresh herbs, there are many different ways to enjoy them. I find that one of the most *effective* ways is by making a flavorful pesto, using a very large amount of fresh herbs that are pulverized into a paste releasing all of their flavors. Blanched almonds provide the perfect texture and mild flavor for the herbs to hang out with while fresh lemon juice and miso intensifies the situation in the best way possible. As for the vegetables, I used sugar snap peas, English peas, and fava beans that were blanched. You can honestly use anything you'd fancy. I quite like the ear-shaped orecchiette pasta as it's incredibly satisfying to eat. Once again, this recipe is available on my blog, and linked up in the Epicurious bio. If you do make this or any of my recipes for that matter, please let me know and tag me in the picture. I'd love to see the results. Well, that concludes my takeover. Thank you for having me. This was fun. Sending all of you love and delicious food. - @Food.Lovers.Life
